One of the things that we wanted to focus on was a quality, organic product that we felt was safe for children. My granddaughter absolutely loves to mimic the women she admires, myself included. That means sitting endless hours in front of the vanity applying lip gloss or lip balm since those are the only things that she is allowed to use at the age of six.
Too often, lip glosses and balms have ingredients in them that are not safe for sensitive skin. I understand adding preservatives for a longer shelf life, but that is one thing that we want to avoid. We don’t want to add chemicals. We don’t want to create in large quantities just to have things sitting on the shelves and going bad.
Instead, we are focused on small batches, safe ingredients, and bringing you a personal touch. While we are launching with lip balms and lip glosses, I promise we will be moving on to other things like scrubs and artisan soaps. In fact, I can’t wait to share my favorite lip scrub combo with you!
